For our musical interlude today we have the new album by Dolly Parton, called Rockstar. — Say what?!
Last year Dolly was inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame. While flattered, at first she was gonna decline the honor as she’d never done a rock tune in her life. But the HoF insisted that she couldn’t flip off the fans who had inducted her, so the undisputed Queen of Country acquiesced.
Then the 77-year old music icon promptly began working on a full-out rock album so she could feel she had earned the honor. Parton pulled off quite the production, joining forces with some of Rock music’s most legendary artists along with today’s biggest stars, including:
