My own personal gig disasters are simply too embarrassing to mention, inasmuch as they pretty much all occurred when I was a stupid hippie in my 20s, and always involved drug-induced, braindead lapses of professionalism on my part.
However, I *will* mention one lesson I learned: One would do well to avoid driving 50 miles with the band to a gig and completely space-out packing your instruments in the van. Major musical faux pas.
