Paco de Lucia’s ‘Malaguena de Lecuona’ – Grisha Goryachev plays 1924 Miguel Rodriguez

This young man is quickly becoming one of my favorite contemporary Flamenco guitarists. For an example of perfection in execution, listen to his rendition of Paco de Lucia’s adaptation of the quintessential Flamenco piece, Malaguena. If Goryachev’s playing similarly captures your imagination, ping his website.

Grisha Goryachev performs “Malaguena de Lecuona” by Paco de Lucia on an incredible 1924 Miguel Rodriguez (ex. Pepe Romero) with a Spruce top and Cypress back and sides. Recorded at the Guitar Salon International showroom in Santa Monica, CA.
